original chalkboard signs + designs

Last year I was fortunate enough to attend the actual Oktoberfest in Munich and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had while traveling. There’s just something about the energy of thousands of people all having a good time (and drinking beer) that can’t be beat. So, needless to say, I was eager and excited to celebrate Oktoberfest here in New York City, and what better way to do that than at a German beer garden. This is the mural and sidewalk sign I did, as well as a shot from the German-American Steuben Parade I was a part of. Prost!

A new season means a new chalkboard design for this yoga studio. I love working on this board because the owner, Jyll, gives me creative freedom to do whatever I please. The only challenge is working with the extremely bumpy surface (I tried to capture it in the last photo). That means no super fine detail and the fact that things won’t be perfect, but it’s a good reminder not to always be such a perfectionist!

A seating chart I made for one of my good friend’s wedding in Seattle, WA. It was so nice to be able to contribute something to their gorgeous day!

This is an updated version of the board I previously did for the ping pong tournament. This one was done with chalk pen for durability.

Check out the original one I did here

My super awesome and talented roommate, Rebekah Peppler, just released a cookbook! And I was lucky enough to contribute some chalkboard art for the bookbinding party. Buy her book, “Honey,” from Short Stack Editions here

Fun beer koozies I made for my friend’s 30th birthday celebration in Austin last weekend.
